About this data

Every figure comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics program — a survey of what employers actually pay, covering millions of establishments. We publish the May 2025 release: median, mean, percentile, and state-level annual wages. No estimates, no self-reported salaries, no lead forms.
